The Society of St Margaret
The Priory of Our Lady, Walsingham
A recognised community within the Church of England
Associates
Associates are women or men, remaining in their own sphere of life, who wish to share in the prayer and ministry of the Society.
Associates should have a commitment to their spiritual journey, which will include: time set aside for personal prayer; attending the Eucharist; retreats or quiet days; some form of spiritual guidance or sacramental confession; and, where possible, observing the Community festivals: Corpus Christi, the Holy Name and St Margaret (20th July).
Associates are also invited to share, wherever possible, in the Sisters' work. In Walsingham this includes helping us to keep the watch before the Blessed Sacrament.
Associates are remembered in the daily prayers of the Sisters, and are welcomed in all houses and chapels of the Society.
Each Associate is asked to keep in touch with one house of the Society either by visiting or by writing at least once a year.
Associates should pray daily for the whole Society.
Anyone interested in becoming an Associate should contact Sr Carol at sistercarolssm@gmail.com or
